High-Speed Steel with Superior Toughness
Kunshan Guanghouhong has its own R&D team. We hold multiple patents related to mold steel improvement. SKH-9 High Speed Steel is one of the key materials we process. The typical composition includes about 0.85% carbon, 6% tungsten, 5.2% molybdenum, 4.1% chromium, and 2% vanadium. Compared with SKH51, SKH-9 provides better toughness and stronger resistance to chipping while maintaining excellent wear resistance and red hardness. We re-check hardness before every batch leaves our factory. We provide material test reports upon customer request.
Perfect for Precision Blanking and Thin-Stock Stamping
SKH-9 High Speed Steel is suitable for precision blanking dies, high-speed thin-stock stamping dies, shears, saw blades, and forming tools. If you manufacture stamping dies for medical devices or precision electronic molds, this material helps reduce the risk of cracking.
For heat treatment, we recommend quenching at 1180°C to 1220°C. This process is followed by three tempering cycles at 550°C. Hardness after quenching and tempering reaches 63 to 68HRC.
Our heat treatment process uses a self-developed rapid cooling device and industrial control software. These systems intelligently manage the process and ensure uniform performance. Our factory uses spectrometers and hardness testers for physical and chemical inspections during processing.
After-Sales Support and Quick Reorders
We provide a 12-month warranty. If packaging is damaged upon arrival, please send photos within 3 business days. We help identify the cause. If the damage is caused during transportation, we assist with claims against the logistics provider. If our packaging causes damage, we provide compensation or replacement.
For repeat orders with unchanged specifications, standard products are shipped within 2 to 4 business days. Custom reorders require 5 to 10 business days.
