High-Speed Steel with Excellent Red Hardness
Kunshan Guanghouhong has been processing mold steel since 2014. Our factory covers about 3,000 square meters, with a monthly production capacity of approximately 150 to 200 tons. SKH51 High Speed Steel is one of our most commonly processed grades. This material contains about 6.4% tungsten, 5% molybdenum, 4% chromium, and 1.9% vanadium. These alloy elements provide excellent high-temperature hardness and resistance to softening. During processing, we check hardness and dimensional accuracy for every batch. This ensures that every product meets your technical requirements.
Suitable for High-Speed Cutting and Heavy Punching
SKH51 High Speed Steel is ideal for high-speed drills, milling cutters, taps, and thick-plate punching punches. If your production involves high-speed cutting or heavy-load punching, this material provides stable service life and reliable performance.
For heat treatment, we recommend oil or gas quenching at 1200°C to 1230°C. This process is followed by three tempering cycles at 540°C to 580°C. The quenched hardness reaches 62 to 67HRC. After high-temperature tempering, the hardness can reach 64 to 69HRC.
We support customized sizes based on technical drawings. You can also adjust hardness requirements according to your working conditions. Our production line includes CNC gantry mills and precision grinders. We can handle sawing, milling, grinding, and other processing methods.
