SKS3 Cold Work Die Steel is one of the low-alloy tool steels we process. This material contains about 0.95% carbon, about 0.5% chromium, and about 0.5% tungsten.
It offers good toughness and low quenching distortion. It provides good machinability. Its wear resistance is moderate. It provides a cost-effective solution for practical applications.
We test hardness and dimensional accuracy for every batch. This ensures that all products meet our quality standards.
Suitable for Woodworking Tools and Small Dies
SKS3 Cold Work Die Steel is suitable for woodworking tools, shears, small cold stamping dies, plastic trimming knives, and wear-resistant fixtures.
If you need an economical mold material, this grade meets practical application requirements.
For heat treatment, we recommend oil quenching at 800°C to 830°C. Hardness after quenching reaches 60 to 63HRC.
We support custom orders based on technical drawings. We can adjust size and hardness according to your needs.
We provide rough material, precision plates, and flat plates in various processed conditions.
