H13 Hot Work Tool Steel is one of our most processed hot work grades. This material contains about 0.4% carbon, about 5.2% chromium, about 1.3% molybdenum, and about 1.0% vanadium.
It offers excellent thermal fatigue resistance and crack resistance. It maintains excellent toughness at high temperatures. It provides uniform hardenability. This makes it one of the most versatile hot work steels available.
We strictly follow incoming inspection procedures for raw materials. During processing, we test hardness and dimensional accuracy. This ensures that every piece meets your quality standards.

Ideal for Aluminum Die Casting and Hot Forging Dies
H13 Hot Work Tool Steel is suitable for aluminum and magnesium alloy die casting dies, hot forging dies, hot extrusion dies, and molds for high-temperature plastic applications.
If you need ejector pins or sprue bushings, this material provides long service life.
For heat treatment, we recommend gas quenching at 1020°C to 1050°C. This is followed by two tempering cycles at 560°C to 620°C. Hardness after quenching and tempering reaches 48 to 52HRC.
We support custom sizes based on technical drawings. We can adjust hardness according to your working conditions.
Our factory uses spectrometers for chemical analysis and hardness testers for physical testing.

Production Equipment and Payment Terms
We have automated metal saws, CNC gantry mills, vertical CNC machining centers, and precision surface grinders.
We handle sawing, milling, grinding, drilling, and tapping in-house.
For custom products, we require a 50% deposit and a 50% balance before shipment. Standard stocked items require a 30% deposit and a 70% balance before shipment.
We mainly accept USD payments. We stock this H13 Hot Work Tool Steel in common sizes for quick delivery.
