S136 Mold Steel is a martensitic stainless plastic mold steel that we process regularly.
This material contains about 0.38% carbon and about 13.5% chromium. It provides excellent corrosion resistance and good rust resistance during long-term mold operation.
S136 is suitable for PVC and chemically aggressive plastic materials. It also offers excellent mirror polishing performance and good wear resistance.
We follow strict incoming inspection procedures for raw materials. During production, we check hardness and dimensional accuracy for every batch.
Suitable for Transparent and Medical Molds
S136 Mold Steel is suitable for transparent plastic molds, corrosion-resistant molds, medical plastic molds, and food-grade injection molds.
If you need corrosion-resistant mold steel with mirror finishing requirements, this material provides stable processing performance.
For heat treatment, the annealed hardness is ≤215HB. After quenching and tempering, hardness reaches 48 to 52HRC.
We support custom sizes based on technical drawings. We can also adjust hardness according to your application requirements.
Our factory uses spectrometers and hardness testers for material inspection. These tests help verify chemical composition and mechanical properties.
