Daily Basic Maintenance Intervals
Post-shift cleaning: Immediately after each stamping shift, clear metal debris and residual oil from the die cavity and wipe the working surfaces clean.
Daily lubrication check: Before the shift, inspect lubrication points such as guide bushings, cutting edges, and contact surfaces; replenish light machine oil as needed. Standard oiling applies when stamping materials are free of rust.
Daily visual inspection:Before daily operations, inspect cutting edges and forming surfaces for micro-cracks, wear, or impact marks; halt the machine immediately for corrective action if anomalies are found.
Maintenance Intervals Based on Stamping Cycles
Inspection at 50,000 strokes: After completing 50,000 stamping operations, conduct a comprehensive check of clearances in guiding components and the extent of cutting-edge wear; verify whether dimensional tolerances exceed design values by more than 15%.
Specialized maintenance at 100,000 strokes: After a cumulative 100,000 strokes, disassemble the die to clean out internal rust and debris, replace guide components showing minor wear, and recalibrate assembly precision.
Comprehensive inspection at 500,000 strokes: Upon reaching the standard design service life threshold of 500,000 strokes, perform comprehensive flaw detection to evaluate the need for a complete refurbishment or the replacement of core components.
